NLEX Road Warriors
Al Thornton, being a former NBA player who was occasionally effective, was expected to do wonders for an NLEX team that desperately needed consistent offense from the wings. Itll be interesting to see how he responds after such a bad game, and he has a golden opportunity against a Blackwater team that will probably have nobody who can really stop him. Yes, he did score a combined 67 points in his first two games, but that 11-point stinker against Purefoods is what really stands out. He has, however, been a bit underwhelming.
After a lackluster Philippine Cup, KG Canaleta seems to have finally gotten back into the groove of things for the Road Warriors. He has been productive in limited minutes in NLEXs past two games, and he, along with Aldrech Ramos, should prove to be a match-up nightmare against Blackwater. If Canaleta can light things up from rainbow country like he has for the past couple of contests, then NLEX shouldnt have much trouble derailing the Elite.
He has been a god-send for the Elite so far, and its not hard to see that without him, Blackwaters chances of winning are next to nil. Will he be jet-lagged, or will his quick trip back to the States have absolutely no effect on his productivity? Even if Douthit does manage to come back to Manila and rejoin Blackwater on time, how effective will he be?
Although this match may deliver few goals it is my opinion that the opening quarter will produce enough goal scoring opportunities most of which should be taken hence this bet. I think this over bet is feasible and valuable. This match is a close call. NLEX Road Warriors is home to Meralco Bolts in the Philippines Cup 3, Philippines. Although favourite to win it Meralco Bolts is on the road and could come under heavy resistance from from the home and host team NLEX Road Warriors. Good luck. They are underdog but playing at home should give NLEX Road Warriors that extra motivation motivation and inspiration.
Note: bookmakers' policies on voided matches changes so we always recommend players to check the specific terms of bookmakers they bet with to ensure they understand under what circumstances they void bets. a common void bet occurs in tennis when a player retires through injury. Void bets occur when the bet is not decided as a win or loss and the stake is returned to the player. This happens when a match is suspended, posponed, or cancelled e.g.
NLEX Road Warriors vs Blackwater Elite - 98:104 (Away Win)
When one talks about NLEX, its inevitable that Asi Taulava gets brought up. He has, after all, proven to be the heart and soul of this team. Against a team like Blackwater, Asi should be able to be dominant once again. At 41 years old, The Rock still defies all expectations by averaging a double-double, and, well, NLEX would be nowhere without his imposing interior presence.
If he can regain the explosiveness and confidence he showed in his rookie season, the Elite could be in for another upset win. Nuyles, meanwhile, still hasnt really settled into any kind of rhythm for the Elite yet, but his 8 points in 13 minutes against SMB was mighty promising. Cardona has yet to score in double-figures this conference, though he did come close with 9 points against Purefoods. If he can be a reliable scoring option against Blackwater, NLEX should experience smooth sailing. One match-up to watch in this game is this one between veteran Mac Cardona and young gun Alex Nuyles. Both have struggled so far this conference, but they can break their respective slumps by breaking out in this game.

With some tough foes awaiting them, the Road Warriors will need to win now to spark something moving forward. In three games, the Road Warriors have come up short, with their last loss against Purefoods proving to be somewhat of an embarrassment (62-87). The NLEX Road Warriors, despite a much publicized build-up in Dubai and having a bona fide former NBA player, still have yet to win in the Commish Cup.
